We have an incredible opportunity for someone to take the next step in their tax career and join a long-established, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Harrogate. This firm are seeking a Tax Assistant to work within Personal Tax with some exposure to Corporate Tax.

As a Tax Assistant, you will be responsible for: Preparation of Personal Tax returns Dealing with a variety of tax queries from a wide range of clients. Liaising with HMRC Attend meetings regarding tax planning for pension contributions and other tax planning duties Some corporate tax planning and dealing with queries Corporate tax computations for large clients requiring audit. Opportunity to get involved with VAT, inheritance tax, trusts and estates, probate etc

To qualify for this Tax Assistant role, ideally you will meet the following: Have experience working in Personal Tax in an accountancy firm. Experience with Corporate Tax is desirable but not essential. Studying towards ATT, CTA, ACA etc
