Our client is the London office of a highly regarded US law firm with a market-leading Tax practice. Following a period of significant growth, the team is now looking to complete the picture with the hire of a mid-level associate (3-4 PQE), UK trained and UK qualified.

The Tax group advises on sophisticated and high-value matters, with a particular focus on the tax structuring of investment funds, complex M&A transactions and fund financings. The practice benefits from a strong flow of work generated by the firm's global platform and is closely integrated with leading partners in London and internationally. This role will involve working closely with a senior partner in the team, offering genuine exposure to top-tier matters and clients from day one.

The team operates at the very top of the market and is known for being both intellectually rigorous and genuinely collegiate. It is an excellent environment for an associate who enjoys technically demanding work, values collaboration, and wants to develop within a first-class international practice.

The firm would be keen to speak with tax lawyers currently practising in London at a Magic Circle, Silver Circle, international or peer US firm. Candidates should have a strong academic background, excellent technical foundations, and the confidence and judgement to engage comfortably with clients and colleagues alike. Prior exposure to fund-related tax work and complex transactional matters will be particularly attractive.
