About the role
We are seeking a Tax Manager to support our Head of Direct Tax in ensuring compliance with tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work within a small, ambitious team in an exciting and evolving market. The ideal candidate will be a self‑starter with strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills who can manage the company's tax risks, provide general tax advice, and organize tax affairs efficiently across jurisdictions.
Role Responsibilities
Prepare and review GB & Ireland Corporation Tax computations and partnership returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax legislation
Provide UK tax technical expertise, particularly in areas such as Corporate Interest Restrictions (CIR) and derivatives
Manage tax accounting and reporting, including group reporting, FRS 101 entity tax disclosures, and tax reconciliations
Oversee Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) reporting and conduct in‑year testing across various tax areas
Partner with business stakeholders to explain complex tax technical issues and apply tax advice in practical business contexts
Contribute to specialized tax areas including R&D tax credits, Capital Allowances, and Transfer Pricing as needed.
Experience and Key Attributes
Post‑qualification experience in industry or equivalent experience working with medium/large businesses
Comprehensive UK tax technical knowledge with understanding of Irish tax beneficial but not essential
Strong experience in tax accounting and reporting under IFRS and
