The Senior Tax Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with VAT and Corporation Tax reporting requirements in the UK and overseas where applicable.
This role involves developing a tax strategy, reviewing major projects' tax implications, and maximising VAT (and tax) reliefs and exemptions where available.
Collaborating with system teams to ensure Oracle Fusion processes VAT correctly on all transactions.
# Working with the Global Mobility Team and other departments to address overseas tax issues.
# Coordinating with Payroll and HR on related tax filings and negotiations with HMRC.
# Ensuring correct and timely filing of annual corporate tax returns for Imperial and subsidiaries.
# Advising on overseas withholding tax and import duties.
# Assessing tax implications of major business developments and minimising liabilities, working with external advisors as needed.
# Holds a Tax Qualification (CTA) or is qualified by experience.
Holds an Accounting Qualification or is qualified by experience.
Has experience with payroll taxes, corporation tax, VAT, and overseas taxes.
