The Role - English Teacher

A well-regarded mainstream secondary academy in the London Borough of Barnet is seeking a dedicated and engaging English Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis starting September 2026. The role involves teaching English across KS3, KS4 and KS5, delivering high-quality lessons that develop students' reading, writing, and analytical skills.

You will be responsible for planning engaging schemes of work, assessing student progress, and supporting pupils to achieve strong academic outcomes. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with support and professional development available.

The successful English Teacher must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a strong understanding of the current English curriculum. Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level English Language and/or Literature is desirable.
