Tradewind Recruitment Liverpool are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of GCSE English to join a well-regarded secondary school in South Liverpool. This is a full-time position starting after the Easter break, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking English department.

This role is specifically for a qualified English teacher delivering the UK curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4. It is not a TEFL position.

The Role:

Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4

Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the UK national curriculum

Prepare students for GCSE examinations

Monitor, assess and report on student progress

Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Has experience teaching English within the UK secondary curriculum

Demonstrates strong subject knowledge at GCSE level

Is committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress

Has excellent classroom management skills
