Veritas Education are seeking a dedicated and inspirational English Teacher to join one of our welcoming secondary schools in the Kirklees area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate practitioner looking to make a real impact on pupils' progress within a supportive school environment. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students to develop strong literacy skills and a love for the subject. You will join a committed department with strong leadership and access to excellent teaching resources. Plan and deliver well-structured English lessons in line with the national curriculum. Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in accordance with school and DfE standards. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities. Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and wider school life. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification. Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4. Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning. An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
