Pay: £ 168- £260 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Long-term, temp to perm.
Start: April 2026
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a thriving and supportive school community in Tameside. You will teach History, Geography and a small amount of RE.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a well-resourced, forward-thinking environment.
As a Teacher of Humanities, you will play a key role in inspiring and engaging pupils through creative and inclusive teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes progress and wellbeing
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential
Contribute to school life through involvement in extracurricular activities and initiatives The ideal Teacher of Humanities will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT with placement experience
Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and child development
Be confident in behaviour management and classroom organisation
Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills to the role
