Job Description

Clarence Recruitment are seeking an outstanding Mathematics Teacher for a high-performing secondary school in Leicestershire to cover a maternity leave position from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to join a popular and academically successful school with a highly regarded Mathematics department.
The role is open to experienced teachers, ECTs/NQTs, and unqualified Mathematics teachers with strong subject knowledge. The school offers exceptional CPD and support, particularly for early career teachers, and provides leadership and TLR opportunities for experienced candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across the secondary age range
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that drive strong pupil progress
Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement
Contribute positively to the success of the Mathematics department
Support whole-school initiatives and enrichment where appropriate

Requirements

Applications are welcomed from:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) teachers
ECTs/NQTs
Unqualified Mathematics teachers with relevant experience
Additional requirements include:

Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons
Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
Willingness to contribute to a high-performing department
