About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join a thriving secondary school in London. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially KS5, delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students of all abilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a committed professional who is passionate about mathematics education and keen to contribute to a supportive and ambitious department.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5
Prepare students for internal assessments and public examinations
Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
Maintain high standards of behaviour through strong classroom management
Build positive and productive relationships with students, staff, and parentsEssential Requirements
PGCE (or other UK recognised teaching qualification) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – applications without QTS will not be considered
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics across KS3–KS5
Proven experience teaching in a London secondary school
Excellent classroom management skills
Ability to develop positive relationships with students and colleagues
A commitment to raising achievement and maintaining high expectationsDesirable
Experience teaching A-Level Mathematics
