This role would suit either an ECT Maths Teacher looking to build strong foundations in a supportive environment, or an experienced Maths Teacher seeking a school with high expectations, clear structure, and a genuine focus on staff development.

Key Responsibilities

The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for:

Delivering engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

Planning lessons that are ambitious, inclusive, and aligned with the national curriculum

Using assessment effectively to track progress and adapt teaching accordingly

Contributing to departmental planning, moderation, and curriculum development

Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom routines

Supporting pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND or additional needs

Requirements

To be considered for this Maths Teacher role, you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it

Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

Ability to teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

Strong classroom management and high expectations of pupil behaviour

A reflective and collaborative approach to teaching

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
