Protocol Education are working closely with a highly regarded BS1 secondary school in central Bristol to appoint a full-time Modern Foreign Languages Teacher, predominantly teaching French, until the end of the academic year.

About the Role

As the school’s MFL Teacher, you will mainly teach French across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that encourage pupils to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Your role will include:

Teaching French across KS3 and KS4
Delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
Helping pupils build confidence in communication and language skills
Supporting learners of varying abilities to access the curriculum
Monitoring progress and supporting pupil development

Schemes of work are already established, allowing you to focus on great teaching and building positive relationships with students.

What the School Is Looking For

The school would love to hear from teachers who are:

✔️ Qualified teachers (QTS or equivalent) or confident ECTs
✔️ Strong in French subject knowledge
✔️ Passionate about language learning and cultural education
✔️ Able to build positive relationships with secondary-aged pupils
✔️ Organised, professional and enthusiastic about teaching

Experience teaching GCSE French is helpful but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
