✨ The Role
You will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities at KS5 depending on experience and specialism. You'll join a collaborative department with a shared commitment to high standards, creativity, and pupil engagement.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Teaching Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics depending on specialism
Creating a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners
Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
Contributing to departmental development and whole‑school initiatives✅ The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a reflective and motivated practitioner who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Has a degree in a Science subject or closely related field
Is an ECT or experienced teacher with strong subject knowledge
Demonstrates effective behaviour management and communication skills
Has a genuine passion for Science and inspiring young peopleECTs will benefit from:
