Teaching Assistant KS1&2

We are looking for a committed and flexible Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS1 and KS2 in a range of schools located in Yeovil and the surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, confident working across different year groups, and able to travel to various school settings in the area. Experience working with children in a school or early years setting is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons

Provide individual or small-group support to pupils, including those with additional needs
*
Support classroom organisation and behaviour management
*
Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
*
Help prepare resources and classroom materials
*
Encourage positive pupil wellbeing and self-confidence
Requirements:

Experience supporting children in a school or early years setting
*
A patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable attitude
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
*
A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
*
Ability to commute to schools in Yeovil and nearby areas
