Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Mainstream School

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire, UK

Pay: £95 - £105 per day

Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

About the role

We’re seeking experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across Blackburn. Assignments range from day-to-day cover to longer-term placements, providing you with the freedom to choose when and where you work.

A Teaching Assistant’s Responsibilities:

Supporting the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons Supporting children on a group and 1-1 basis Leading interventions and occasional class cover

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment Follow school policies and ensure continuity of learning Collaborate with school staff and contribute to a supportive team culture

What We’re Looking For

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience supporting children with additional needs Minimum 6 months recent experience working as a TA in a UK primary school setting Strong classroom management and communication skills Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
