About the Role

Joining Careers Education is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a temporary long-term position within a supportive and welcoming school in Harlow. This role is ideal for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual looking to gain consistent experience in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one or small group basis

*

Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management

*

Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

*

Support pupils with additional needs where required

*

Ensure safeguarding and school policies are followed at all times

Requirements

*

Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)

*

A positive, patient, and proactive approach

*

Strong communication and teamwork skills

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

*

Commitment to the full duration of the assignment
