Pay: £92.50 / £96 Per Day DOE

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and well‑resourced school in Poulton‑le‑Fylde. This is an excellent opportunity for someone already working within SEN who is looking for a stable, rewarding role where their experience is truly valued.

You'll be working closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential.

Your Role Will Include

Providing 1:1 and small‑group SEN support within the classroom
Supporting pupils with needs such as ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Supporting lesson delivery and adapting learning activities
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support teams
Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Supporting personal care where required (training provided)

Who We're Looking For

✅ Essential: Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or SEN setting
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
A good understanding of safeguarding and SEN best practice
