Part-Time Teaching Assistant - Complex NeedsChesterfield | Primary School / Fixed Term Until 24th July

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with complex needs?

A welcoming primary school in Chesterfield is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child's educational journey.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM (Afternoons)
• Occasional full-day overtime available (as required by the school)

Contract:

• Start: As soon as possible
• Fixed term until 24th July (end of academic year)

The Role:

You will be providing 1:1 and/or small group support to pupils with complex needs within a primary setting. The role requires patience, consistency, and a strong understanding of supporting children with additional needs.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience working with children with complex needs
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A calm, nurturing, and adaptable approach
• Ability to work collaboratively with class teachers and SEN staff
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
