Academics, a trusted supply agency proudly supporting local schools for over 15 years, is looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic Reception Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Congleton.The RoleYou will be working full time in a Reception classroom, supporting the class teacher and helping pupils settle into school life. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm for the duration of the summer Term.Key responsibilities include:Supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)Assisting with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy activitiesSupporting learning through play and continuous provisionHelping children develop social skills, confidence, and independenceWorking closely with the teacher to create a safe, engaging environmentWe're Looking For Someone Who:Has experience working with young children (school or nursery experience desirable)Is caring, patient, and enthusiastic about early years educationHas a good understanding of EYFS (preferred but not essential)Is reliable and committed to a full-time roleHolds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update serviceWhy Work with Academics?For over 15 years, we've proudly partnered with local schools, building strong relationships and matching great staff with fantastic opportunities.
