Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Location: Northampton Start Date: Immediate | Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Are you a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Kettering? We are working closely with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across the area who are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a full-time, temporary basis.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in their academic progress while contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
Assist children with SEND and/or EAL needs
Help manage classroom behaviour and daily routines
Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and well-being
Support with preparation of learning materials and classroom organisation
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
Is patient, reliable, and proactive
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Is adaptable and confident supporting different year groups
Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
