We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant with SEND experience to join a friendly two form entry primary school in Gravesend. This is a varied role where you will “float” across different year groups, providing targeted support to pupils with additional needs while also assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. About the Role and Key Responsibilities

As a SEND Teaching Assistant working with TailorEDucation, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning and development. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons or learning activities, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring pupils are inspired to achieve their best. The Ideal Candidate Experience

• The ideal candidate will have:
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years Education
• Experience supporting children and young people on a 1:1 and group basis
• A nurturing and proactive approach to supporting learning and development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with teachers and other staff
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles
• Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
