Teaching Assistant RoleHanson Recruitment is looking to recruit Psychology Students and Psychology graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in schools in Bath.We offer flexible, well-paid work opportunities in school settings to both Psychology students and Psychology graduates with background in Psychology, Counselling, Neuro-Science as Teaching Assistants.Pay Rate:£85 - £100per day (subject to experience and qualifications). The work will be taking place in schools during the week during school hours (8.30am-3.30pm).Responsibilities include:Providing both dedicated support to individual pupils and the other pupils in classSupporting the students academic progress and developmentCollaborating with the classroom teacher and other staff members to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment.Assisting with the student's behaviour management and social-emotional developmentFollowing all school behaviour, safeguarding and Health and Safety policiesQualifications & attributes:Experience of working with children in any capacityPsychology Degree/Equivalent Qualification or studying towards oneGood organisational and communication skillsAbility to work between 0830-1530 hours during the week term-time.Benefits:The role of working as Teaching Assistant with Psychology Background will enable you to use both your academic knowledge as a psychology student and inter-personal skills to support children in the classroom.
