Primary Teaching Assistant - Temporary Opportunity

Daily Rate: £90-£95

We are currently seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS1 and KS2 on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with children and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

In this role, you will work alongside the class teacher to support learning both in the classroom and through targeted interventions. You will provide one-to-one and small group support, particularly in key areas such as literacy and numeracy, helping pupils to build confidence and make progress.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the delivery of lessons under the guidance of the class teacher
• Preparing learning resources and assisting with classroom displays
• Offering one-to-one and small group support to pupils
• Assisting children with reading and developing core literacy skills
• Supporting pupils with SEN to access learning effectively
• Promoting positive behaviour and supporting classroom management
• Providing pastoral and emotional support when needed
• Supervising pupils during break times, lunchtimes, and school activities
