We are excited to announce a new Teaching Assistant position starting in January 2026, offering a wonderful opportunity to join our skilled, compassionate, and dedicated team.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with PMLD to access an engaging, personalised curriculum and develop their communication, independence, and wellbeing. You will:
Work alongside teachers and therapists to provide tailored learning and personal care support.
Help deliver sensory-based and therapeutic activities.
Build trusting, supportive relationships with pupils to help them achieve their individual goals.
Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
This is a full-time, term-time only role starting in January 2026, with excellent training and development opportunities for the right candidate.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Has a genuine passion for working with children and young people with PMLD or complex needs.
Is caring, patient, and resilient, with a strong sense of teamwork.
Can communicate effectively and follow professional guidance.
Holds (or is willing to work towards) a relevant qualification, such as Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Health and Social Care.
