We are a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the heart of Southwark, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team from September 2025. This full-time role involves providing 1:1 support to a child with SEND (Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities), helping them thrive academically, socially and emotionally within a mainstream classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil with SEND, under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO Assist with the planning and delivery of personalised learning activities Foster a positive, nurturing relationship with the child to support their engagement and well-being Monitor and record progress, feeding back to teachers and professionals as needed Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and the child's family
