Learning Support Assistant – 1:1 & Intervention Support – Primary School

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work within a mainstream primary school setting, supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis as well as delivering small group interventions across the school.
We have opportunities available in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, making this an excellent role for someone who is passionate about supporting children at different stages of their learning journey. The school is looking for a patient, proactive individual who can help pupils build confidence, overcome barriers to learning, and make positive progress in the classroom.
The role:
Supporting pupils 1:1 within the classroom
Delivering targeted intervention sessions in areas such as literacy and numeracy
Working closely with class teachers and SEN staff to support individual learning plans
Encouraging pupil engagement, independence, and positive behaviour
Supporting pupils both academically and socially throughout the school day
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within a school environment
Be confident supporting pupils with additional learning needs
Demonstrate patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach
Work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with staff and pupils
Be committed to supporting pupils to reach their full potential
