Teaching Assistants – Hornchurch Area

Location: Hornchurch, Havering

We are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils in primary and secondary schools across the Hornchurch area.

This role is ideal for candidates with previous school experience who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Candidate must have experience with SEN.

Key Responsibilities – Teaching Assistant:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils in the classroom

Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH where required

Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities

Help maintain a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, or supporting children in a school setting – essential

Understanding of SEN support strategies

Patient, proactive, and supportive approach

Ability to work well as part of a team
