Job Description

We're working in partnership with a number of secondary schools who are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to provide classroom and pupil support across a range of subjects and year groups.

We are working with schools across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. Areas include Fleetwood, Thornton, Bispham, Poulton, Over Wyre, Lytham and St Annes.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and want to gain valuable experience within a secondary school setting.

The Role:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons
• Work with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
• Provide additional support to students with SEND or EHCPs
• Help manage classroom behaviour and engagement
• Support pupils with their academic and social development

Ideal for:

• Aspiring teachers or education professionals
• Graduates in education, psychology, or related fields
• Individuals with experience in youth work, care, or support roles
• Teaching Assistants seeking flexible or consistent work

What We're Looking For:

• Patient, reliable, and supportive individuals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young people
• Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable, not essential)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
