About the Role At Ashley Park School, were seeking dedicated, compassionate Teaching Assistants who are passionate about making a difference. In this rewarding role, youll support pupils with additional needs to access learning, build independence, and flourish within a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. Working closely with teachers and support staff, youll help deliver high-quality education and care, ensuring every pupil feels supported, valued, and empowered to achieve their potential. As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Support class teachers to deliver engaging lessons for all students. Provide 1:1 and small-group support to help pupils access the curriculum. Promote pupils educational, emotional, and physical development. Assist with planning, implementation, and review of individual support plans. Help organise classrooms, resources, and learning materials. Encourage positive behaviour, self-regulation, and social skills. Ensure student safety and wellbeing, following safeguarding and risk assessment procedures. Work collaboratively with teachers, care staff, families, and other professionals. Maintain accurate records and keep up to date with best practices. This is an ideal role for someone caring, organised, and committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils with additional needs.
