Teaching Assistant - Academic Background - Haringey Primary Schools

Primary Schools across Haringey, North London are seeking motivated and academically strong Teaching Assistant candidates to support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. This Teaching Assistant role is ideal for graduates or individuals with a strong academic background who are passionate about supporting children's learning.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support classroom learning, work with pupils in small groups, and provide targeted academic interventions. The successful Teaching Assistant will be confident supporting literacy, numeracy, and general classroom activities.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

• Supporting lessons across the classroom as a Teaching Assistant
• Delivering small group interventions as a Teaching Assistant
• Supporting pupils with SEND where required as a Teaching Assistant
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation as a Teaching Assistant
• Encouraging pupil engagement and progress as a Teaching Assistant
• Helping maintain a positive classroom environment as a Teaching Assistant

This Teaching Assistant role offers flexible opportunities and may lead to long-term placements for the right Teaching Assistant seeking stability in Haringey schools.
