About the Role

My client are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join a child-centred, multidisciplinary team. You will assess and support children with a range of speech, language, communication, and feeding needs, delivering evidence-based, engaging therapy that helps every child reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans
  • Deliver high-quality therapy in individual and group settings
  • Monitor progress and adapt interventions as needed
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
  • Collaborate closely with families, schools, and the multidisciplinary team
  • Support and educate parents and caregivers
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (BSc/MSc or equivalent)
  • Current professional registration (e.g., HCPC, ASHA, or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children with communication disorders
  • Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and therapy planning skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Compassionate, organised, and child-focused approach

Desirable

  • Experience with ASD, stuttering, or dysphagia
  • Knowledge of AAC systems
  • Experience supporting bilingual or multilingual children
