Team Leader

JDR are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment within the Bagging Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with supervisory experience who is looking to progress and develop within a growing production business.

Shift Pattern

Week 1: Monday - Thursday: 06:00 - 14:00 Friday: 06:00 - 12:00
Week 2: Monday - Thursday: 14:00 - 22:00 Friday: 12:00 - 18:00

The Role

As Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring production targets and KPIs are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating and maintaining production lines

Producing daily plans and organising team activities

Driving continuous improvement and optimising machine running times

Assisting with machine maintenance tasks

Working closely with supervisory staff and production management

Leading and motivating a team in a fast-paced environment

Ordering materials and completing monthly stock takes

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience supervising or managing a team

Machine operative experience (food manufacturing experience desirable)

Technically minded with strong problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and people skills

Computer literate

Strong work ethic, reliable and committed

Flexible to meet departmental needs

Able to work under pressure

What's on Offer

£14.99 per hour starting rate

£1.79 per hour shift allowance

Pay increase once fully trained
