Logistics & Warehousing Team Leader – Permanent - Shrewsbury
L & C Consulting are recruiting with a successful business in Shrewsbury for a new Team Leader to work within their Operations team. Working Monday – Friday, this permanent position will suit an experienced Team Leader / Operations Administrator who is looking for a new opportunity within a successful business and wants to develop their skills whilst working in a supportive environment.
This hands on role will be reporting into the Warehouse Manager with duties including (but not be limited to):
* Organise and run the day to day activities of a small Operations team
* Process Orders for despatch
* Creating relevant documentation for deliveries and drivers
* Customer Support
* Booking in deliveries
* Liaising with drivers and warehouse staff
* Other ad hoc admin duties
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have experience in a similar role. You will need to have good communication skills and have a flexible, honest approach to your work. Strong IT skills are also essential (Ms Excel & Outlook) including ERP / MRP systems.
This role requires a flexible approach and good geographical knowledge of the UK.
