Technical Account Engineer
We are working with a specialist engineering and manufacturing company based on the Worcestershire/ Herefordshire border on a full-time permanent basis. You will be supporting business growth through technical advice, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. This role will suit a candidate with strong technical, numerical, and communication skills and an aptitude for solving problems and supporting customers with their queries.
What You Can Expect
* Salary: £35,000 – £40,000, dependent on experience
* Full-time position, 39 hours per week
* Flexible working hours policy with the option to finish early on a Friday

What You Will Be Doing
* Interpret customer drawings and specifications to produce accurate technical proposals and quotations
* Responsible for providing technical assistance to customers and contractors to secure sales opportunities
* Take a proactive approach and find solutions to fulfil customer technical briefs
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers and distributors
* Proactively follow up quotations
* Complete own order processing administration with the support of a sales administrator
* Produce reports as required to support commercial activity
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams
* Occasionally travel for customer site visits, technical meetings, and exhibitions to promote products and services
What We Are Looking For
* A technically minded individual, capable of interpreting engineering drawings
* A confident communicator
* Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
* IT literate with good working knowledge of MS Office and Sales databases
* Strong organisational skills
* Ability to develop strong technical knowledge of company products (full training provided)
