Morson are recruiting on behalf of a leading aerospace and defence client for a Technical Administrator to join their team in Glascoed. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a well-established engineering environment, supporting key administrative and document control activities.
About the RoleAs a Technical Administrator, you will support engineering operations by ensuring documentation and data are accurately managed, maintained, and accessible. You will play an important role in keeping systems organised and compliant, contributing to the efficiency of the wider team.
Key Responsibilities- Upload and manage digital files and data
- Organise, maintain, and archive records and documentation
- Retrieve and distribute files for internal teams
- Check and update documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Maintain and improve filing systems (both digital and paper-based)
- Scan and verify documents for clarity and accuracy
- Process requests for files and track document movement
- Support data entry, typing, and transcription tasks
- Monitor office supplies and liaise with vendors when required
- Ensure secure handling and disposal of confidential documents
- Assist in developing templates and improving data systems
- Operate standard office equipment and systems
- Experience in an office or administrative environment
- Previous clerical or document control experience xbpsjku
- Familiarity with file management systems or cloud storage (desirable)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Excellent data entry and typing ability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with a wide range of documentation
- Strong research and problem-solving skills
