I am currently recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM, based in Gaydon, who are seeking a Technical Analyst to join their team
Job Description
As Technical Analyst, your main responsibilities include:
Act as a Technical Analyst delivering centralised support services to Engineering Factory Offices, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational objectives.
Lead the coordination and execution of key operational processes to support Factory Office teams in achieving performance, efficiency, and compliance targets.
Collaborate cross-functionally to gather, validate, and process shopping cart requirements, including supplier quotation verification, procurement initiation via the Client systems, and accurate submission to central approval workflows.
Ensure strict adherence to internal processes, standards, and documentation protocols.
Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of SAP systems, from shopping cart creation through to invoice confirmation and reconciliation.
Provide expert guidance and support to stakeholders on purchasing procedures and expenditure approval workflows, ensuring clarity and compliance.
Qualifications / Skills needed
A highly driven and self-motivated professional with a strong track record of delivering results independently and proactively seeking opportunities for growth and development.
Exceptionally numerate with advanced analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrates strong financial acumen, with a solid grasp of key financial principles including commitment tracking, expenditure control, cash flow management, and accrual accounting.
Proficient in interpreting and validating supplier quotations and invoices.
Comfortable working at a granular level to ensure accuracy and completeness in all tasks.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, fostering alignment and delivering shared objectives.
