Job Description
A boutique high end residential practice based in East London is seeking a Technical Architect to join their team. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will run luxury UK residential projects through to completion with a focus on technical excellence.
You will join a stable and friendly team where each person owns a clear area of expertise. In this role, you will be the technical specialist within a three-person project group, focusing on RIBA stages 4 to 7. ArchiCAD proficiency is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
Advise on technical matters across early RIBA stages
Produce high quality tender and construction drawing packages
Coordinate inputs from consultants and internal team members
Lead and manage tender processes, including documentation and analysis
Carry out site inspections and liaise directly with contractors
Respond to RFIs, oversee site procedures and maintain accurate documentation
Support contract administration for JCT and construction management contracts
Skills and Experience
Professional competence in ArchiCAD
Minimum 2 years post Part III experience working on residential projects
Strong technical design, detailing ability and BIM fluency
Proven delivery of RIBA stages 4–7
Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations
Confident communicator with strong coordination skills
Eligibility to work in the UK, this practice cannot sponsor
