Position: Technical Assists Engineer
Location: Gaydon, UK (5 Days a week from office)
6 months contract position
The Role
You will be responsible for analysing, managing, and coordinating support for complex customer facing technical issues, and deliver efficient product diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair information
Your responsibilities:
Organise, track, and manage incoming technical issues, providing advanced diagnostic support to our global network of retailers, identifying and prioritising both interim and long - term corrective actions.
Interpret and translate complex engineering information while identifying and rectifying deficiencies in existing diagnostic information pathways to enable accurate and timely customer issue resolution.
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
Demonstrate experience in automotive service technical problem solving
Experience working with and diagnosing automotive complex systems
Root cause analysis and fault detection handling
Able interpret automotive wiring diagrams
Experience working with and diagnosing LIN, CAN and BUS networks
Experience using standard diagnostics tools, oscilloscope, multimeters, scan tools and the associated technical procedures.
Computer skills proficiency and excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities
Extremely detail oriented.
