Job Description
Step into senior management and play a key role in the technical oversight and leadership of complex high rise housing schemes at firm with stand out benefits.
Position:
This is a rare opportunity for an established Technical Architect at Associate Director level. Reporting to the Directors and Head of Delivery, you will play a hands-on and strategic leadership role across two large, complex, high-risk residential projects concurrently. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are compliant with regulatory, contractual and quality standards, proactively mitigating risk, as well as taking an active role in interrogating Revit drawings and models, troubleshooting specific technical challenges across the team. As a senior leader, you will also act as a mentor and role model, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, collaboration and continuous improvement, and inspiring success whilst championing technical excellence and best practice across the business.
Candidate:
The successful candidate will be an ARB-registered Architect (or equivalent) with 10+ years of post-qualification experience, including substantial experience in technical delivery leadership. You will have a proven track record of delivering large scale, high risk residential projects of varying complexities, with an excellent grasp of building regulations, health and safety legislation, risk management and contractual appointments. Experience / familiarity with Gateway 2 and BRPD is highly desirable. This is a senior management position requiring strong demonstrable leadership, business strategy and communication skills to flourish and commit long term to their practice. Revit is essential.
Studio:
This is a design led but commercially astute practice who have carved a reputation for realising some of London’s best new housing regeneration projects. They blend contemporary design with expert knowledge of complex planning, regulatory standards and meticulous detailing to consistently deliver on quality and profitability for their clients. At the heart of their ethos is a genuinely collaborative, people first culture that values every voice and idea, encouraging everyone to contribute positively to the practice, no matter their position. They employ and retain the best talent in the industry by offering stand out benefits comparable to big players, including a strong pay package, private healthcare and enhanced parental leave.
