Technical Bid Manager Location: Fareham, Hampshire Salary: £50,000 – £56,000 per annum

We are looking for a Technical Bid Manager to lead the quotation process from initial enquiry through to final submission. This is a key role within a busy manufacturing and engineering environment, responsible for ensuring bids are accurate, commercially sound, and delivered on time.

About the role

You will take ownership of the full bid and quotation process, reviewing technical data packs, drawings, bills of materials, specifications, and customer requirements to establish scope and identify risk. You will develop accurate material and labour costings, coordinate workload across the team, and work closely with engineering, procurement, operations, and commercial colleagues to ensure quotations are both technically robust and commercially aligned.

Key responsibilities

Manage the full quotation and bid process from enquiry to submission. Coordinate and prioritise team workload across costing and quote preparation. Review drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical data packs. Build accurate cost models covering materials, labour, subcontract processes, and associated costs.
