Job Description Technical Contract Manager - Trophy Building - Canary Wharf - up to 75K
One of the capital's leading service providers is currently looking to recruit a Technical Contract Manager to work at a large prestigious building in Canary Wharf.
As a company, they manage properties for a number of well known commercial blue chip clients and are considered one of the best in their field.
The main purpose of the role will be to ensure that all technical and contractual operations in this building are maintained to a very high standard.
There will also be a high level of responsibility with regards to compliance, HV systems and contractor management.
The main duties will also include:

Manage and work alongside the appointed contractors.
\n
Manage all technical issues including HV systems and shutdowns.
\n
Attend client meetings.
\n
Manage agreed KPI and SLA’s.
\n
Responsible for managing the company’s H&S and environmental performance on site.
\n
Plan and implement building shutdowns and complex client project works.
\n
Responsible for managing the company’s quality procedures on site.
\n
Recruitment of any new staff required on sites.
\n
Responsible for the technical development of all staff, which will include annual appraisals.
\n
Management of client relationships on a daily basis.
\n
Management of all reports.
\n
Manage any additional business opportunities that will deliver client satisfaction and increase contract sales revenue.
\n
Responsible for the permit system.
\n
Applicants for this role must be able to demonstrate the following:
\n
Qualified in elec/mech engineering discipline; C&G, HNC, HND or higher.
\n
Strong understanding of HV systems and ideally HV approved.
\n
Strong technical engineering understanding.
\n
Previous experience of managing large engineering teams.
\n
Experience of managing large 24/7 sites.
\n
Experience of service delivery in high profile financial offices or critical data centres.
\n
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
\n
Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload.
\n
Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
\n
The package for this role includes:
