We are seeking a Senior Technical Design Manager to join our Central London office, leading the technical delivery of our high-profile hospitality and high-end residential projects from concept through to completion, ensuring quality, consistency, and design integrity at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development and delivery of interior design projects across multiple sectors.
• Oversee and review CAD/BIM drawings, details, and documentation to ensure quality, compliance, and design intent.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and specialist consultants (MEP, lighting, AV/IT, signage, kitchens, spa, etc.) to integrate technical details seamlessly.
• Maintain ISO standards, local building regulation compliance, and QA/QC processes.
• Conduct site visits for surveys, shop drawing reviews, material approvals, inspections, and snagging.
• Track and resolve technical queries, manage coordination logs, and monitor consultant deliverables.
• Advise on space planning and optimisation aligned with local regulations.
• Support value engineering exercises while maintaining design quality and budget targets.
• Act as the primary liaison between the design team, consultants, manufacturers, and contractors.
• Mentor and guide design teams, providing technical leadership and oversight.

Who You Are

• 10+ years’ experience in a senior technical design role within interior architecture or design.
• Proven track record in high-end hospitality, commercial, and residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of detailing, construction methodology, ISO standards, and building regulations.
• Proficient in CAD/BIM with excellent coordination and leadership skills.
• Clear communicator with the ability to manage complex technical challenges.
