This role is central to ensuring accurate product information, effective customer communication, and high technical standards across the business. If you enjoy combining technical knowledge with leadership, structure, and continuous improvement, this position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities Lead the technical services function, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer technical queries. Oversee the creation, approval, and maintenance of product specifications, allergen data, nutritional information, and labelling content. Ensure technical documentation remains compliant, current, and aligned with legislation, retailer codes of practice, and customer requirements. Manage and enhance specification systems, strengthening data integrity, version control, and audit readiness. Provide technical support for product development activity, customer visits, and external audits. Identify opportunities to improve technical service processes and support the development of internal technical knowledge through training and guidance. About You Educated to degree level in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related subject. At least three years’ experience in a technical services, specifications, or compliance role within food manufacturing. Confident working with specification management systems and technical databases.
