Job Description

We are partnering with a fast-growing organic food business in Devon to recruit an experienced Technical Manager to join their friendly, expanding team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role for a proactive professional who can lead BRC and customer audits, manage the HACCP team, and oversee quality systems across the business. You will be the go-to person for technical enquiries, customer complaints, product specifications, and compliance with food safety standards.

What We Are Looking For

Experience leading BRC audits, customer audits, and HACCP teams Strong knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and microbiological standards Ability to handle technical queries, root cause analysis, and non-conformance reports Competence in product specifications and packaging compliance including ingredients, allergens, and nutritional information Level 4 Food Safety for Manufacturing and Level 3 or higher HACCP, with auditing qualifications desirable Excellent organizational, communication, and IT skills Positive, proactive attitude and a good sense of humour

Desirable: Experience in organic food manufacturing and BRC or Soil Association accreditation.
