The Role
Reporting to the Technical Director, you will lead the technical team and take full ownership of quality governance, operational performance, and customer compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, develop and manage the technical and quality team
*
Own and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
*
Oversee internal and external audits
*
Ensure compliance with customer, legal and industry standards
*
Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
*
Provide technical guidance and resolve complex issues
*
Manage technical projects, resources and budgets
*
Report performance, risks and improvements to senior leadership
*
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders
About You
*
Proven experience in a technical or quality leadership role within manufacturing/engineering
*
Strong working knowledge of QMS and audit processes
*
Effective project management and organisational skills
*
Analytical and solutions-focused mindset
*
Strong communicator with the ability to influence and lead teams
*
Proactive, detail-oriented and commercially aware
