About the role of Technical Manager
This role offers the opportunity to manage and drive the technical and design process across residential developments. You'll take ownership of coordinating design, approvals, and technical delivery from land acquisition through to construction. Working within a collaborative and experienced team, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities for Technical Manager:
* Assist and collaborate with the Land Department in the investigation and acquisition of development sites
* Manage detailed technical investigations, design development, and optimisation of schemes
* Coordinate with statutory authorities to secure all necessary approvals and documentation
* Prepare and oversee construction drawings to support project delivery and contract letting
* Identify and resolve technical design and construction issues across developments
* Maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities, NHBC, and utility providers
* Represent the company at technical meetings and support wider company design initiatives
* Assist in supervising and supporting the Technical function across the business

Requirements for the Technical Manager role
* Strong technical knowledge from an architectural or civil engineering background
* Educated to HNC / HND in a construction-related discipline
* Experience within the housebuilding industry, ideally with a high-volume developer
* Exposure to mixed-use or commercial schemes
* Knowledge of concrete, steel, and traditional masonry construction
