Jackson Hogg are delighted to be continuing our partnership with PD Ports, who are currently recruiting for a Technical Superintendent to join their Marine Engineering team in Middlesbrough.

PD Ports is the Statutory Harbour Authority for Teesport and the Port of Hartlepool, and this role presents a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation supporting a fleet of specialist vessels vital to port operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the maintenance, repairs, and performance of marine vessels, with a strong focus on electrical and electronic systems.

Manage dry-docking, refits, and equipment upgrades to ensure vessel reliability and efficiency.

Lead fault diagnostics and troubleshooting of all onboard electrical systems.

*

Ensure full compliance with maritime safety, class, and statutory regulations.

*

Support and improve planned maintenance systems, driving continuous technical enhancements.

*

Collaborate with crew, contractors, and internal departments to minimise downtime and maintain operational readiness.

*

Serve as the subject matter expert for electrical systems during inspections, audits, and surveys.
