Location: Preston, UK (with potential for 2 days remote working per week for non-local candidates)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
Sector: Aluminium Windows / Manufacturing

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded business within the aluminium windows sector, is currently looking to appoint an experienced Technical Process Manager. This is a key role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to play a pivotal part in ensuring technical accuracy and supporting operational efficiency across projects.

Our client has built a strong reputation over many years by maintaining direct control over their installation operations through an in-house team. This ensures consistently high standards on-site. During peak periods, they also utilise a network of trusted subcontractors who operate under the close supervision of their internal team, maintaining quality and consistency at all times.

• Produce accurate and detailed factory paperwork from architectural drawings and site surveys
• Work extensively with Logical software to support technical and production processes
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure manufacturing accuracy
• Manage and coordinate material ordering in line with project requirements
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth transition from design to production
• Provide hands-on support to operations when required
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail across all documentation and outputs

• Previous experience in a similar technical or process-focused role within manufacturing (ideally aluminium windows, glazing, or a related industry)
• Strong working knowledge of Logical software is essential
• Ability to confidently read and interpret architectural drawings and surveys
• Proven experience producing accurate technical documentation
• Experience in materials ordering and coordination
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
• A flexible, proactive approach with willingness to support operational needs
