Job Description
fresh is on the lookout for a Technical Production Manager. You’ll be a technical problem solver and team player that can turn event and activation ideas into reality and input your own experience into developing production solutions for both pitches and live projects.
The successful candidate will:
- Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring all elements align with event timelines
- Coordinate with Producers, suppliers, venues, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct/oversee site visits to identify potential challenges early
- Implement contingency plans to address last-minute changes or unexpected issues
- Oversee freelance crew, suppliers, and third-party vendors, ensuring clear communication and expectations
- Ensure adequate staffing levels for event setup, execution, and breakdown
- Ensure all stakeholders are informed of key production milestones and deliverables
- Provide onsite management of delivery.
Core tasks:
- Working closely with the Head of Production & Senior Technical Director to spec and deliver our production offering on events and experiential activations
- CAD and space planning preferable but not essential
- Be commercially savvy
- Good at developing client and supplier trust and relationships
- Ensuring compliance with all company and Client policies and procedures, including those relating to Health & Safety
The role requires you to be in our Manchester City centre office 3 times a week when not onsite.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of knowledge in delivery of both live events and activations.
