Technical Program Manager – BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems)

Location:TBC (UK-based – role supports EMEA & APAC regions

The Role

We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our client’s team, leading projects in the fast-growing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) sector. This role suits someone driven, organised, and confident in managing multiple complex technical programs from start to finish.

You’ll work with teams across engineering, product, and operations to make sure projects are delivered successfully, on time, and to the highest standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and managing technical programs from concept to launch.
• Coordinating with engineering, product, and operations teams.
• Tracking timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Spotting and solving risks before they become problems.
• Driving improvements in project management processes.
• Ensuring technical and operational standards are met.

What We’re Looking For

• Electrical Engineering background.
• Program management experience in a technical/engineering environment.
• A proactive, results-driven personality who takes ownership.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Excellent problem-solving ability.

Nice to Have

• Experience with autonomous systems.
• Knowledge of protection and control systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
